Chocolate cake

The recipe is a traditional Italian one. They call it: "Torta al cioccolato". It is a recipe that quickly gets you out of trouble when you have unannounced guests. It is made very quickly and is a delicious dessert.

  • 100 g freshly sifted flour
  • 150 g butter at room temperature
  • 150 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g quality chocolate (horeca)
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 baking powder
  • powdered sugar for garnish

Preparation time: less than 60 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Chocolate cake:

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Separate the eggs. Whisk the egg whites. Rub the yolks with the sugar and butter. Melt the chocolate with the milk in a bain-marie, leave it to cool a little, then add the mixture with the yolks, gradually, the flour with the baking powder is slowly incorporated with a spatula, at the end add the beaten egg whites. Wallpaper a round tray. Pour the composition and bake for 35 minutes. Remove and leave to cool, then garnish with powdered sugar.
