This little sweet made in the evening, was a small but sweet gift offered with great pleasure to people with beautiful souls. And because I was curious about the result of my creation :) I did it again the next day, fixed for us, exactly the same and I will show it to you below.

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1/2 sachet baking powder with saffron
  • 100 ml of milk
  • 300 gr flour
  • 1/2 sachet caramel pudding, Dr. oetcker
  • walnut kernels and hazelnuts

Preparation time: less than 90 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Guguluf with walnuts and hazelnuts:

Mix whole eggs with condensed milk. Add flour mixed with baking powder and pudding, pour in the rain and mix until completely homogeneous, with a wooden spoon. Pour the composition thus obtained into a guguluf shape, greased with butter and lined with flour. Then put the pieces of walnut kernels and hazelnuts and push them into the composition with a spoon. Bake over medium heat and bake until slightly hardened. Take the toothpick test!

Remove from the pan and leave to cool on a metal grill. Powder with powdered sugar and serve ... with coffee or a wonderful black tea.

Cozonac with cocoa, nuts and hazelnuts

Mix the dry yeast with the flour, leave for 15 minutes, then incorporate the rest of the ingredients: milk and water, sugar, eggs, 3 tablespoons of oil, salt and flour. Grease your hands with oil and knead the dough until it forms blisters.
Leave to rise until it doubles in volume (about an hour).

Grease the table with oil and spread the dough with your hands in a thick sheet, then divide it into 3 parts. Sprinkle with sugar, cocoa, orange peel kept in sugar in a jar, lemon peel, chopped shit, baked browned walnuts and browned and ground hazelnuts.
Roll each dough, then knit together. Place the cake in a tray with baking sheet and leave to rise for about 15 minutes, then grease with beaten egg.
Bake in a preheated oven over low heat for 50 minutes (or until well browned). When ready, remove and cover with a kitchen towel, and after cooling, you can slice.

WALNUTS, ALMONDS AND HAZELNUTS

Walnuts they are exceptional foods with many health benefits. It is a great source of fat, fiber and protein, also containing vitamins and minerals such as magnesium and vitamin E. By the term "nuts" I will refer to both almonds, hazelnuts and walnuts.

As we know from the article on HOW TO PREPARE CEREALS and nuts contain antinutrients such as phytic acid. Phytic acid prevents the absorption of minerals and can be reduced by soaking. On the other hand, phytic acid also has health benefits such as preventing the formation of kidney stones and cancer cells, reducing the risk of colon cancer.

Given that we cannot consume a large amount of nuts, as we consume cereals or legumes, and given the health benefits of phytic acid, we can consume both soaked and unsoaked nuts.
If we want to soak the nuts, then we will put them in a bowl and cover them with water. We will leave the vessel at room temperature for a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 8 hours.

When do we introduce nuts in the baby's diet?

As we well know, there are no special ages for the introduction of certain foods, therefore there is no certain recommended age for the introduction of nuts. Each mother will decide when it is time to introduce the nuts. Although they are considered potentially allergenic foods, they can be introduced within 1 year according to WHO recommendations. They can be introduced, for example, with fruit in the morning, bringing a considerable amount of nutrients and fiber.

How do we offer nuts?

Because walnuts have an increased risk of drowning, they will be ground or shredded when given to babies or young children.
NHS.uk bans whole nuts offered to children under 5, precisely because of this increased risk of drowning.
Ground walnuts can be mixed with a fruit puree or can be added to various dishes such as puddings, muffins, cakes.
The walnuts can be ground either with a coffee grinder or with an electric mincer or blender. If we soften them then we will grind them using the electric chopper or the blender.
The best and healthiest choice is RAW walnuts, almonds and hazelnuts and not fried / salted. We must also know that nuts, almonds and hazelnuts have a high caloric level and should not be consumed in excess.

Walnuts: health benefits

1. Walnuts are an extraordinary source of nutrients, including vitamin E, phosphorus, copper, manganese, selenium. The percentage of nutrients differs depending on the type of nuts.

Cozonac with hazelnuts and cocoa

Cozonacii announces the approach of the holidays. They are a reason for joy, celebration and good cheer in the family. And you really don't need a specific holiday to make them. because they are very good and in our house they are made when the craving and longing for cakes is great. And they do nothing but turn any ordinary meal into a festive meal full of joy.

Coconut with hazelnuts and cocoa is this recipe that now appears in my recipe diary. It is a cake with fluffy dough and flavored with a delicious filling of hazelnuts, vanilla and cocoa. The slightly fried hazelnuts then transformed into cream will give a special air to this cake. It will be so fragrant and tempting that you will hardly stay away from it.

It took
500 gr flour
15 gr yeast
200-250 gr milk
3 yolks
3 tablespoons sugar
1 pinch of salt
50 gr butter
1 sachet of vanilla sugar
grated lemon peel

Filling
200 gr ground hazelnuts
3 egg whites
100 gr sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1 tablespoon grated cocoa

It took. We prepare the ingredients for the cake 2 hours before we start working.
Put 100 ml of milk on the fire together with the sugar. When the milk is warm, turn off the heat and add the yeast. Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes and turn to flour.

Sift the flour together with the salt and make a hole in the middle. Pour the mayonnaise in the middle then the yolks and another 100 ml of milk. We start kneading the dough. If necessary, add milk gradually until you get a soft dough, non-sticky but easy to knead. Continue kneading for another 10 minutes then add the soft butter, grated lemon peel and vanilla sugar. Knead for a few more minutes until the butter is completely incorporated and the dough is again homogeneous, elastic and easy to process.
Cover the dough with cling film and leave it to rise for an hour in a place away from currents, ideally in a lightly heated oven.

Filling. Fry the hazelnuts for 10 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. Finely grind the hazelnuts and mix them with the lightly beaten egg whites, sugar, vanilla and cocoa. We will get a delicious cream with an intoxicating smell. We put it aside and grab the cakes.

After the dough has doubled in volume, we turn it over on the floured worktop. We spread a rectangular sheet 0.5 cm thick. Grease the whole sheet with the delicious filling and then start rolling it tightly.

We prepare a form of guguluf or cozonac. If it is Teflon, it will have to be greased well with oil. If it's silicone, it doesn't need anything. I used a silicone guguluf shape.

Put the cake in the form and grease it with yolk. Leave it to rise for another 40-50 minutes until it slightly exceeds the height of the form.

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees and put the nicely leavened cake in the oven. After 10 minutes, reduce the heat to 180 and bake for another 35-40 minutes, until it gets a wonderful red crust.

Soak the cake form and cool it on a grill. We leave the cake in shape for 10 minutes after which we take it out and put it on the grill again.

Let the cake cool completely. We cover it with a clean kitchen towel to avoid excessive drying. After slicing it, keep it in an airtight container, in a cool place. Enjoy!


Cake with nuts and candied fruit

The cake with nuts and candied fruits, a simple, good and colorful cake, which I enjoyed this holiday.
Candied fruits, which I really like, have started to be used in our country as well, especially in winter when we don't have fresh fruit.
Two of these candied fruit recipes, which you may already know, are a Christmas Snow Cake and a Candied Fruit Cake and caramel cream, both just as good.

But let's go back to this Cake with nuts and candied fruits that I want to present to you now.

Ingredients Wheat / fraged dough / 40 & # 21523:
500 g of flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
50 g powdered sugar
200 g butter
4 egg yolks
2-3 tablespoons of sour cream

Chia pudding with berries and hazelnuts

Dessert or healthy protein-rich breakfast? Chia pudding with berries and hazelnuts, sweetened with just a little honey and flavored with cold-pressed pumpkin oil Elixir!

This pudding is a delicious variant of "something sweet" with a low calorie content and nourishing at the same time. You can combine it as you like with various nuts, fruits according to your preferences.

Ingredient:

  • 100 gr chia seeds
  • 200 ml of milk (according to preference)
  • 100 g of raspberries
  • 50 gr pumpkin seeds
  • 1 kiwi
  • 50 g of blueberries
  • 50 g of hazelnuts
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar or we can replace it with honey
  • 1 vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon cold pressed pumpkin oil Elixir or a tablespoon of soybean oil first press Elixir.

Method of preparation:

In a bowl, make a mixture of milk, sugar or honey, vanilla essence and a tablespoon of cold-pressed pumpkin oil or a tablespoon of premium Elixir soybean oil.

Add the chia seeds here and then mix them all well. We put the composition in a jar or glass, which we leave overnight in the refrigerator.

In the morning, before serving, add the chopped fruit, hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds, or even a few small pieces of chocolate, as you prefer, on top, depending on your preference.


I recently bought a new form of baking & one of guguluf. I don't know exactly where I will place them all, because my storage space is shrinking day by day (maybe I need a bigger kitchen ?!), but I can't help myself when I see something interesting. This is what happened the other day: as soon as I saw the baking form, a lot of ideas came to my mind!

Okay, I calmed down slowly and decided to start easy, with a recipe for chocolate and hazelnut guguluf (a bigger muffin, actually). The idea turned out to be very good because, in about 50 minutes, the house smelled incredibly baked dough, and my patience was put to the test when I had to wait for this goodness to cool.

Guguluf shapes are very easy to find: either in supermarkets, in specialized stores with cooking utensils, or in online stores. But be careful: depending on the shape in which the dough is baked, the cakes will take on different sizes, shapes and tastes, given the amount of ingredients used or the time and temperature of baking.

Method of preparation

Beat the egg whites separately with the water. Add the sugar and beat until it melts. Then add the yolks and oil. Stir in lightly mixing the hazelnut kernel, flour, carob powder and baking powder.

Grease a silicone guguluf form with a drop of oil (or an ordinary one with oil and lined with flour) Pour the composition, put the form in the preheated oven and bake on low heat for 50 min. Cool almost completely, then remove and powder with sugar.
