1 teaspoon top cumin (cumin) or cumin missing
salt pepper
4 tablespoons oil

Preparation Veal in spicy sauce

  1. Cut the meat into cubes. Put the onion on the large grater and crush the garlic.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons oil and fry the diced meat seasoned with salt and pepper in 3 rounds, so that they are not crowded in the pan, to fry well, about 5 minutes per turn. After each round of meat, add a tablespoon of oil if necessary. Remove the meat from the pot.
  3. Add the onion and cook until it softens a bit, then add the garlic and cook for a few more seconds.
  4. Add the tomato paste and the pepper paste and fry everything for about 10 minutes, until the paste starts to caramelize slightly.
  5. Add paprika, chili, oregano, a pinch of salt and then the meat and stir until the meat is well covered with spices.
  6. Add 3 cups of water and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, until the sauce drops and becomes creamy. Stir from time to time and check at the end if the meat is cooked. Taste the salt.
